The book provides up-to-date information on various topics related to bleeding during pregnancy and puerperium. The 39 chapters of the volume grouped under 8 significant sections, cover the entire spectrum of hemorrhages during pregnancy and puerperium. The entire text has been divided into 8 sections which are Introduction Early pregnancy bleeding Late pregnancy bleeding Puerperal bleeding Management issues Non-obstetric causes Complications and Miscellaneous and legal issues. The prominent feature of this book includes chapters which do not commonly find a place in many obstetric books. They are oral bleeding during pregnancy, domestic violence and trauma in pregnancy. It is hoped that this book will be widely used by students and physicians practicing obstetrics, as well as by all those concerned with women’s healthcare. A unique feature of this book is that at the end of the book, students will find questions (in the Appendix) designed to help them revise the contents of the chapters.
