A comprehensive and nicely presented text book. A must-have for daily reference and for board prep. I got this book for preparing for ABIM board recertification. I have had it for 3 months now and have used it along side a board review course. I have found the book to be amazing. It is a comprehensive yet concise, well-written textbook that provides a complete overview of information covering all the major topics in medicine. The information is accurate, and up to date. It is presented in an easy to understand format. The book is full of images, mnemonics, diagrams, flow-charts and easy to read tables and this makes this book worthy of its title - 'Memorizing Medicine Faster and Better'. I have also been using the book in-between seeing patients in office and find it as a valuable reference. I highly recommend this book for all medical students, residents and practitioners.

I recently ordered and received the second edition of the book “ Memorizing Medicine Faster and better” by mail. After reading this edition of the book, I am convinced that this is much improved version of an already popular version of the first edition. Each existing chapter has been thoroughly and thoughtfully revised with recent advances in medicine. And new relevant chapters such as pharmacotherapy , adult immunization, and more have been added to expand the scope of the book. After reading this new edition of the book, I can state that the author is again successful in bringing a comprehensive book in medicine with focusing on key points relevant to each disease. The author also has masterfully supported these key points with simplified illustrations and tables in each chapter. Such as the revised "Toxicology" chapter 11 of this book was so easy and simple for me to read with a flow. This book surely makes the medicine "easy to memorize" and "easy to remember". I reiterate that this book is a great source of reference to those who are practicing medicine. I hope that medical students, residents, and attending take the advantage of this revised excellent 2nd edition. I admire author of this book Dr. Rifat Naghmi for his commitment in making internal medicine so interesting and enjoyable. This book is a significant addition in the field of internal medicine. I give this book a five stars.

*A Fun, Useful, Clinical Tool for Learning and Retaining Internal Medicine.* I congratulate Dr. Rifat Naghmi for his second edition of “Memorizing Medicine Faster and Better”. He is the perfect author for this kind of book because of his vast experience in and great passion for teaching medical students and young clinicians for several decades about the field of Internal Medicine. His considerable personal clinical experience in this field only adds to this book’s quality and usefulness for its intended audience. For those who are looking to gain medical knowledge in a simple and descriptive way, Dr. Naghmi’s book is perfect for efficient and easy learning with its various tables, diagrams, visuals, and acronyms. It is necessary for medical students and clinicians to remember an immense amount of medical information, and this book provides many tools to ensure that this medical knowledge will be retained. For example, on page 727, the “Variants of Migraines” is cleverly broken down through the use of the mnemonic VARIOUS, the name of the mnemonic connecting with its content. In conclusion, I strongly recommend this book for all medical students, young clinicians, and practicing physicians to have in their collection or medical offices for additional learning and quick review.

*A must-buy for medical students, residents and doctors* A beautifully conceptualized and well-written book, this edition of Memorizing Medicine Faster & Better fulfills all expectations it’s predecessor had set. Having read the last book in its entirety, I was intrigued about what details this one would entail. Surprisingly, even though this book included an incredible amount of useful detail, it continued to be a light and easy read throughout. Being an Internal medicine resident preparing for the Boards, I feel highly benefited from a one-source information hub like no other. I highly recommend this book to medical students, residents and doctors alike because there is something in there for everyone!

Excellent book. I just received my copy in the mail couple of weeks ago. This seems to be a much improved version of the previous edition. Starting from the very attractive cover, touch and feel. Beautiful print, graphics and pictures. The text has been brought up to date and in line with the fast changing medical field. As before Dr. Naghmi has put a significant effort in getting this edition out for the help of the students in particular and the medical community at large.

*Excellent quick reference for Internists and sub specialists* The second edition has been updated and has become a handy resource in the busy cardiology office practice where one wants to reach-out for a quick reference to address questions at hand. Dexterously arranged information and pithily summarized data makes it a very easy read.
