The content in the book is concise, to the point and more than adequate. The reader gets in immediate insight to what the authors hope to convey without much fuss. The illustrations are impeccable, and easily reproducible. A bible for all medical students, especially leading upto the few months before the final exam.

The book POEMS is very informative and all inclusive book ideal for UGs and PGs as well. Once again the author Dr. Rema Pai has proven her exemplary teaching skill in internal medicine . I am sure that the book will serve as a very useful tool to the medical students

The book is a very well written book. It is very concise too! Very useful for practice and exams. It contains information in the form of Questions. Very appreciable. The Paras book store in Pondicherry is very nice. Mr Anal is very helpful and it is a very customer friendly store. Very happy with all the efforts.

I can say that POEMS is a book many would aspire to write, but only a few can accomplish with such quality. The book is organized in a manner where every chapter starts with a clinical case with concise history and examination findings, followed by diagnosis, differentials, explanation of comprehensive physiology along with investigations and treatment. Illustrations and tables are included wherever possible to give comprehensive understanding of the topic. A teacher at heart, Rema madam has also paid special attention to include all long and short cases, important for undergraduate medicine practical exam.

My words about POEMS..I have lots more to say but making it concise. This book is idiosyncratic in the way it presents information,even as being lucid,relevant and highly focused, it also channels a student's mind into ,how to develop a problem oriented learning approach to clinical cases, how to think like a clinician and how to integrate the knowledge they possess and apply them to clinical scenarios.It is a gift to medical undergraduates and post graduates in internal medicine.

Really a great practical manual for medicine. A lot more interesting and precise than other books. Can be pretty helpful for viva especially for undergraduates

Well Oriented, informative and precise. Good book for Undergraduates. Useful for quick revisions. Better read along with standard books. I would also like to mention the finest quality of the manager of Paras book shop in making students aware about new arrivals of medical books.
