I read the book “Developmental and Behavioural Pediatrics with Adolescent Medicine,” Scott’s PEDIA-TRICKS Speciality Series, PARAS Medical Books Pvt, Ltd. I sincerely appreciate each of the author’s efforts in presenting the contents clearly and concisely. In particular, I feel these are the highlights of the book. Simple presentation using “Fewer non-content words”: Example: chapter 8, Page No: 68: Dietary influences. Up-to-date information is provided: Example: chapter 10: MRI classification and use of electrical stimulation in Cerebral palsy. Point by point description of facts: Example: Chapter 5: Pages 34 and 35. Explicit pictorial representation for easy understanding: Chapter 13. Regional information: Example: Chapter 9, Page 84: Provisions for examinations conducted by various boards. Chapter 1, Page 8: Time spent with media – Scenario in India. Behavioural and Psychiatric disorders in children: Though plenty in number, covered in a single chapter with precise details. I hope this book would be of immense use to all the Medical and Nursing students (Undergraduates, Pediatric Postgraduates) and Paediatricians.

Must read for every Paediatrician An excellent book in topics of developmental Pediatrics explained in a simple interesting way. This book will drive any pediatric postgraduate to do this sub specialty of pediatrics. A must read for every Paediatrician. The author's dedication and passion to do the write up needs to be appreciated.
