I was pro-Vice Chancellor of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences 2011-12. During this tenure, I had an opportunity to design the course of three day duration workshop on “Research Methodology”. The course was directed to the postgraduates and junior faculty of medical colleges and consisted of lectures, demonstrations, and group activities. After the course was designed, I also had an opportunity to get this program implemented in the institutes of the university. As a result I attended almost 50 workshops as a faculty and almost all lectures and group activities by rotation. This book is the result of these workshops and the feedback I received from the participants and fellow faculty. I am grateful indeed, to all of them for the inspiration to write this book. I am sure that this book will be helpful the post graduates and faculty undertaking research projects not only in modern medicine but also in alternative medicine.
